About
It is the fall of 1984. Crack of a bat launched a little league home run, and an adventure that has lasted for over 40 years. George Dalton and Jerry Howell were the two dads watching their sons play little league baseball, Soon they started discussing an idea that led to the start of a new business. That company needed a name so after much head scratching, they came up with a name that described what their new company would do.
The name they chose was MICRO SHIELD INC.
In 1988 Jerry Howell and his wife got a divorce, to settle the divorce Jerry Howell sold his half of the company to George and Jean Dalton.
The company started literally in Jerry Howells garage. It was decided that Jerry was a “chemical man” so he would mix the products and George would sell the service. George knew little about sales, but he knew a lot about hard work.
Now forty years later MICRO SHIELD has delivered high quality sanitation services to thousands of very satisfied customers in thirty-eight states and Canada. The company is still owned by the Dalton Family, George Dalton is now fully active years old and still showing up to work every day.
